We are looking for a Business Development Manager to generate business for Champions' clinical trial flow cytometry services in domestic US. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the flow cytometry business development team to present and promote services to potential clients including new accounts. This will include generation of new business opportunities at new and existing accounts, with the objective of establishing long term, mutually beneficial business partnerships. Successful candidates will be self-starters, but not limited to the following:

  • Achieves annual sales plan and sales targets for assigned accounts.

  • Engages in deep scientific discussions with clients about pipeline programs and key needs for clinical trial programs.

  • Maintains a strong scientific acumen and understands emerging technologies and platforms in flow cytometry.

  • Provides general intelligence on key competitors, and the flow cytometry clinical trial market.

  • Develops account plans and partnerships with key accounts.

  • Develops client call cycle to achieve objectives and sales plan; Follows up on leads.

  • Provides general intelligence on key competitors.

  • Sells the business unit's capabilities and differentiation frameworks.

  • Sets and manages customer expectations.

  • Collaborates with companywide resources to achieve superior customer satisfaction.

  • Organizes and hosts client visits.

  • Uses CRM to manage internal communication and document territory and client information as required for the business unit.

  • Responsible for Opportunity Management and accurate pipeline forecasting.

  • Maintains frequent personal contact with clients.

  • Leads client presentations.

  • Supports an established client base where appropriate.

  • Required travel 25%+.



  • Advanced Degree in Cellular Biology, Immunology, or related field

  • Advanced industry knowledge, specifically in flow cytometry

  • Ability to manage difficult client and/or financial situations

  • Ability to differentiate Champions from competitors

  • Strong working relationship with internal Champions management and site leadership

  • Demonstrated ability to acquire and grow client base

Experience Required:
5-10 years Flow Cytometry Experience (sales, research)

VIEW JOBS 12/5/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-04T00:00 PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Associate with exceptional immunology research skills to support our growing pre-clinical and clinical teams. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Preparation and handling of primary specimens, including peripheral blood, ascites, other liquid biospecimens. * Isolation of white blood cells by density gradient separation * Primary immune cell culture (experience with T cells, NK cells, Dendritic cells, Macrophages) * Sample preparation (murine or human tissues/cells) for immunostaining and acquisition by flow cytometry * Cell culture for primary cells and cell lines * Perform multicolor flow cytometry including autonomous use of flow cytometer(s) and flow analysis software * Perform ex vivo and in vitro assays for immuno-oncology relevant endpoints (e.g. ELISA and multiplex cytokine assays) * Troubleshoot, optimize, and develop methods for unmet experimental needs * Maintain laboratory records and notebook, organize and compile data, and write weekly reports on results KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Expertise in aseptic techniques for handling primary human cells and for mammalian cell culture * Proficiency with processing primary tissues and other samples for downstream assays * Proficiency in Immunostaining, flow Cytometry acquisition and analysis * Good documentation practices and able to follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) * Experience working in a regulated environment (GLP or GCLP) * Proficiency in MS office suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Demonstrated ability to work effectively and productively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a strong sense of integrity and confidentiality. * Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound and accurate judgment in making timely decisions. * Strong planning, organizational, computer, written and verbal communication skills. * Demonstrated accountability and responsibility for own work. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * BS with 2-year experience or MS degree required. Preferred field of study in immunology or related sciences. * Industry experience working with pre-clinical and clinical samples is preferred. * Experience with multicolor flow cytometry is preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT * Must be able to sit and use hands to finger, handle and feel. * Must be able to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds. * Must be able to sit for long periods of time using a computer in a typical office environment in a multi-level facility * Some activities require repetitive motion and reaching, pulling or pushing. * In carrying out the duties of the job there will be frequent exposure to fumes and chemical hazards. * Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue.
