Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager with DuPont Sustainable Solutions to join our Virginia Beach Training Solutions ILT Team, at our Virginia Beach, VA. Offices. There is flexibility for this individual to work from a remote location.

The successful candidate will possess a keen business sense and demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships through understanding the client's business needs and challenges.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing and coordinating business development (sales) activities targeted to DuPont Training Solutions ILT clients to identify, qualify, and progress opportunities to meet sales objectives. Activities include client development, meeting sales objectives, developing and following up on leads, building relationships, penetrating client accounts to grow business based on client need(s).

Coastal Training Technologies is now part of DuPont Sustainable Solutions. This new entity integrates a unique combination of collaborative consulting services, technologies and blended learning solutions which reflect market needs in the areas of workplace safety, sustainable operations, employee training and clean technologies. For our Training Solutions' clients, this means access to a broader selection of crisp, compelling content built upon DuPont methodologies and expertise and delivered via world-class Coastal technologies and training media.

We continue to offer organizations one of the industry's most powerful suites of blended learning solutions including instructor-led training, online training and traditional media. Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 7 years of directly related sales experience

  • Ability to travel 25-50%

  • Possess a proven ability to prospect, develop business, build relationships, communicate in oral and written.

  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills with the ability to be a self-managed producing results.

Preferred

  • Experience in Learning and Development
