Job Description:

Position Overview

This position is within

Siemens Industry, Building Technologies (BT) Digital Service Center (DSC). Inthis role you will drive business development activities by promoting BT'sSmart Service offerings (remote, cloud based, analytics and data driven), aswell as, uncovering and developing opportunities through relationships withBT's Field organization. Working with Sales and Client Service Managerresources, you are expected to assist in generating and managing a large numberof highly qualified Smart Service opportunities and increase the understanding andvalue perception of BT's digital capabilities, both internally and externally.

Our preference is to have thisperson based in the Chicago area. However, we will give consideration to otherlocations in the Pacific or Midwest Zones as well.

Responsibilities

Provides significantinput to all aspects of development of strategies for profitable penetration ofour Smart Service offering into new or existing accounts. Leads and drives newprogram ideas which result in profitable market strategies to ensureachievement of assigned business goals. Facilitates continuous education ofBT's Sales resources in understanding and positioning BT's quickly advancingdigital & analytics offering. Participates in pre-sales engagement withstrategic accounts and engages in 'Thought Leadership' activities to createpull in market.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Primary day-to-day interface for pre-sales activities with BT's Salesresources

  • Provide hands onexpert knowledge and assistance to allow the Sales Executives / AccountManagers to respond to qualified opportunities in a timely and knowledgeablemanner

  • Strategic campaigns in support of the business development needs of thebusiness

  • Deliver training andworkshops to our field organization to build their 'Digital' expertise in orderto attract new clients and grow existing clients

  • Participate in thedevelopment and delivery of demonstrations, live or via webinar, to keydecision makers detailing the value of the solution to their business

  • Allow BT to increaseits visibility and attain a leadership position image for Smart Services and

Intelligent Building

  • Collateral, case studies, sales promotional needs as required in support ofbusiness

  • Neutralize or put competition at a disadvantage

  • Represent Siemens in industry associations, professional organizations andaffiliations

  • Develop reportingsuite (Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual) in support of funnel process

RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Sufficient HVAC and Building AutomationSystem knowledge - moderately technical

  • 8+ years of experience in related field required

  • Bachelors' degree required

  • Energy Engineering expertise

  • Understanding of Building Data Analytics, such as FaultDetection & Diagnostics

  • Account Management, as well as, New BusinessDevelopment Experience

  • This individual must possess an outgoing personality,be able to present herself/himself and Siemens in a professional andpositive way and work well in a team environment
