The Business Development Manager position is part of Amobee's direct sales digital performance advertising and affiliate marketing division. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying high potential brand advertiser clients to partner with Amobee, and driving revenue generation through client calls and meetings. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for pipeline management, lead generation, generating client meetings, creating custom proposals, and revenue generation and maximizing relationships through strategic selling. The ideal candidate for this position is an independent, self-motivated, proven sales professional who can confidently represent our brand and has experience in the digital advertising space. The ideal candidate is highly driven, motivated to push beyond any boundaries, and excels in a fast paced environment.
Possess a thorough understanding of Amobee's customer acquisition solutions for direct marketing channels
Prospect, qualify and close new opportunities with Fortune 1000 companies and leading brands and startups.
Consistently meet or exceed revenue & sales goals each quarter
Develop strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and build a strategic marketing plan to address those needs
Pipeline management through sales management tools
Negotiate new advertising contracts
Initiate, prepare, and present proposals to prospective customers
Create action plans for new advertisers and agencies
Set objectives, goals, ensure follow-up and execution, and troubleshoot issues
Collaborate with various Amobee teams to execute a marketing strategy, launch, and scale of campaigns
2+ years of online selling, business development, and advertising experience
Proven track record of building and sustaining key business relationships
Excellent written and oral communication skills (outgoing, well-spoken, professional, friendly and courteous)
Fundamental understanding of online advertising and web technologies within the digital advertising space is required
Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
Ability to identify, pursue, and close new business
Ability to display authority and self-assurance when presenting to and negotiating with customers
Thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Operate various sales management tools to track pipeline, actions, and status updates
