We are seeking a Business Development Manager to sell the benefits of 3D Printers and other 3-D solutions. Your sales activities will include prospecting customers that include C level executives, qualification of opportunities, demonstrations, requirements analysis, ROI studies, and executive-level presentations.

To Be Successful:

You will work daily with Computer Aided Technology personnel and 3DP representatives to achieve assigned sales quotas. Your primary responsibility is to develop new client relationships in the assigned territory while growing existing relationships. You will establish customers' needs and explain and demonstrate products to them and address concept modeling and functional prototyping needs.


You have:

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent experience in Engineering or Manufacturing.
  • 2-5 years of experience in related technology solution sales.
  • Proven ability to identify potential clients, and the decision makers within client organizations. Track record of successful solution selling and the ability to listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to close deals.
  • Understanding of additive manufacturing and 3D Printing.
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills.
  • Effective time management, organizational skills, and entrepreneurial mindset.

You may have:

  • Knowledge of Engineering hardware, preferably 3D Printers.
  • Experience using a CRM system.

Business Development & Partnership Manager (Emerging Business Group) (Official Title: Business Development Manager) Responsible for supporting the development of new concepts/innovation for both new and existing investments and partnerships. As a member of the EBG Business Development and Partnership team, the Manager will help identify, evaluate and assess emerging commercialization opportunities for Anthem. The intent is to rapidly source and incubate new capabilities and offerings to respond to changing constituent needs and diversify sources of future growth for the enterprise. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to: * Partners with internal P&L and function owners to understand critical business needs and areas of future interest to drive differentiation, value and growth for the enterprise * Coordinates with internal analytics teams to analyze and cultivate priority areas for exploration and development * Organizes research, analysis and the development of recommendations on the external environment as part of the evaluation and prioritization process * Analyzes major competitor strategies including investment, new business and partnership activities. Incorporates into analysis on Anthem strategy to ensure competitive positioning * Acquires and maintains data/information on market, industry, economic, consumer and competitive conditions and trends pertaining to health insurance/managed care and related services. * Consolidates research, data, analyses and recommendations into concise investment thesis and summaries of opportunity (high level business case, competitive scans, internal assessment relative to existing Anthem asset and potential business risks, considerations) * Develops and implements project plans and oversees project resources to execute investment thesis development and meet internal timelines, expectations * Coordinates/supports management of external investments and partner relationships including closely monitoring business and financial performance, resolving issues as required.
