BDEs are relationship-builders. They develop networks within their client base, within the market they're targeting and with key partners. They are team-players and in many cases, leaders. To get business done internally and externally, BDEs lean on a cross-functional internal team to configure winning proposals and projects that meet our client's needs. BDEs negotiate agreements with the customer, and internally with commercial colleagues to ensure that customer requirements are met at an acceptable level of profitability.

When we win new clients, we want to keep them and build a great client experience. BDEs are key to cultivating this and are always looking for ways in which additional products/services and breadth of solutions can grow the client relationship.

How do you succeed?

  • Winning new clients
  • Achieving sales growth through new targeted client acquisition and expanding the footprint within our existing client base.
  • By partnering with Microsoft in the field to generate new leads
  • Generating significant pipeline growth

As a Business Development Executive (BDE) at Avanade, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence by helping new and existing clients solve their most complex business issues. Your expertise, dedication, and client-centric approach will be instrumental in establishing long-term partnerships and driving success in a rapidly evolving business landscape. This role is heavily focused on origination/hunting and applicants should have a proven track record of generating organic revenue growth through prospecting tools and techniques.   • Proven customer interface and presentation skills
  • Expertise in negotiation and acting as a trusted advisor
  • Proficient in Account Planning and pipeline management
  • Understanding of Avanade, Microsoft, and Accenture solutions
  • Experience in IT project sales and solution selling within the healthcare industry
  • Ability to leverage networks to increase influence
  • Preferred experience in selling managed services deals
