Job Description Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for securing new dedicated contract carriage business for the dedicated division of JB Hunt. The sale is to be profitable within the guidelines established by the dedicated division management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Prospect territory for potential customers
Create marketing plan for reaching prospects
Cold call C-level prospects in marketing area
Effectively present to prospects at C-level and mid-level
Ability to understand customer supply chain and apply critical thinking skills to develop a better solution for prospect
Analyze data to determine more efficient ways to operate
Possess the business acumen to understand financial reports and make solid financial decisions
Ability to work internally across other business units and support functions effectively
Communication, Creativity (JBH Rating Scale), Customer Service, Working with Others
