What You'll Be Doing:

• Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and market trends, analyze competitive landscape and industry developments to inform strategic planning.

• Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

• Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.

• Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities related to new strategic growth markets.

• Develop and present proposals, including technical and commercial aspects, to potential customers.

• Application Engineering:

• Provide technical support and expertise to customers during the pre-sales and post-sales phases. Assist customers in the selection, integration, and optimization of motion systems and solutions.

• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to ensure the proposed solutions meet customer requirements.

• Project Management:

• Collaborate with engineering, production, and marketing teams to develop and deliver customized solutions.

• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the project lifecycle.

• Product Development and Customization:

• Work closely with the R&D team to develop new products and customize existing solutions based on customer feedback and market demands.

• Participate in the design, prototyping, and testing of new products and applications.

• Strategic Planning:

• Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans to achieve company growth objectives.

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business development activities.

• Technical Expertise:

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in motion systems and related technologies.

• Provide technical expertise

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree in business is a plus.

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or application engineering within the engineering or manufacturing industry for at least 3 years.

• Strong technical background and understanding of motion systems, electric motors, and actuators.

• Knowledge of engineering software and tools for design and analysis (CAD, Python, minitab)

• Ability to conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements.

• Inquisitive mindset to identify problems to be solved.

• Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

• Comfortable with cold calling and initiating contact with potential customers.

• Experience in market research and analysis.

• Travel: Up to 25%
