Business Development Director Employee Benefits Services
The Business Development Director will be responsible for developing new partnerships, distribution channels and alliances for Equifax's consumer solutions & analytics via the employee benefit services channel. The selected candidate will be accountable for business planning, go to market strategy, and new revenue growth within new and emerging vertical categories, including Financial Wellness and Security.
As a member of the Employee Benefits Services sales team, the Business Development Director, will report directly to the Vice President, Sales & Partner Development. The selected candidate will align with the regional sales and strategic account teams to evaluate and pursue new opportunities. The role will focus on formulating, representing, and implementing high growth partnerships in accordance with the corporation's goals, objectives, and principles for this high growth channel.

As Business Development Director for Employee Benefits Services, you will:
Develop sound business relationships with key market players to facilitate growth opportunities.
Own and deliver new business sales target to significantly grow the Employee Benefits Services business for Equifax, with focus on new revenue relationships.
Leverage appropriate Equifax expertise/solutions/client teams to fully explore potential opportunities.
Prepare feasibility assessments and recommendations in partnership with the strategy group.
Represent the company, including presentations, at key market forums or conferences.
Develop and maintain relationships with new Employee Benefits partner prospects.
7+ years in B2B sales and market development with a strong background in identifying growth opportunities, developing new partnerships, distribution channels and alliances for Equifax's consumer solutions & analytics via the employee benefit services channel
3+ years in employer and voluntary benefit services strongly preferred
Working with senior management and C-Suite to appropriately develop go to market strategies and mutually favorable partnership/contract terms
Experience in human capital data analytics required
Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar field required
Strong understanding of large client accounts and ability to partner and influence the agendas of multiple client stakeholders particularly in the Employee Benefits Services industry
Knowledge of existing and emerging regulatory/compliance requirements, including the ability to leverage that knowledge to proactively drive sales
Superior skills and ability to present and communicate effectively with c-level executives
Proven sales/solution selling experience, including the ability to diagnose the impact of trends, client data and MBOs and translate that into rapid sales
Experience working with senior-level account employees, including an ability to immediately establish credibility with executives and build/maintain those relationships
Exceptional written and oral communication skills; familiarity/comfort in public speaking
Proven negotiation skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams, demonstrated understanding of key skills across Equifax competencies
Ability to drive urgency in the sales cycle and the execution of solution strategies; exceptional ability to manage a robust pipeline
Excellent planning, organization, multi-tasking, prioritization and meeting facilitation skills
Proven experience in driving significant revenue growth with highly complex strategic clients
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Customer, prospect and partner meetings, team meetings, industry events and conferences: 60%+ travel.
Location: Ideally this person will live in Denver, CO but open to considering other locations for the right candidate as a remote option.
Excellent written and verbal skills with sensitivity to diversity of audiences including internal and external groups of varying sizes. Must be capable of simply communicating and documenting the value proposition of product(s) for markets and segments. Listens carefully and encourages/accepts other points of view. Excellent MS Office skills required.
Business Development: Business development knowledge from evaluation through integration and implementation. Demonstrated ability to write proposals and negotiate contracts

Experience in the technology and/or data industries or working with technology and/or data-related products and services preferred. Knowledge of group voluntary and non-traditional benefits a plus.
