AAC Inc. announces the growth and expansion of our Federal Defense Group. To further support this continued growth, AAC seeks a Defense Business Development Manager who will be part of our core team working to grow AAC as a mid-tier enterprise IT services provider to the Federal government. In the assigned Defense accounts, individual must demonstrate ability to follow a well-developed process to consistently identify new business and new contacts, gather and analyze data from customer meetings and use this information, with online and partner sources to make effective account strategy and opportunity pursuits, and to support the proposal development process as appropriate to win.

  • With a focus on overall account ownership and management, own and grow your assigned accounts through the business lifecycle of contract start through and to organic growth and renewals.

  • Prospect for new Defense opportunities, be they contracts or task orders, and turn them into increased business through the acquisition life cycle.

  • Build teams and team based on gap analysis and synergy of capabilities.

  • Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities, at each stage of maturity, and follow the established process of bringing them to a winning position.

  • Research and build client relations within assigned accounts, both decision makers and supporting staff, as well as retain those relations that AAC supports, with new technologies and processes to enhance your existing baseline of business.

  • Work with AAC team to develop winning proposals.

  • Provide accurate and timely data, from weekly reports, reviews, and capture plans, to weekly CRM updates.

  • Forecast sales targets, track, and record activity on accounts to close deals.

Required Skills

  • Documented track record of winning new business according to business objectives.

  • Ability to develop and sustain prospective customer relationships, as well as internal working relations.

  • Use of effective business development processes to identify new federal opportunities and contacts.

  • Ability to advise customers and determine needs.

  • Organizational abilities combined with attention to detail.

  • Strong listening, verbal, and interpersonal skills, to include writing ability.

  • Passion to seek out or create new business opportunities in assigned accounts.

  • Bachelor's Degree, related technical preferred.

  • Five plus years of Federal government business development account experience.

  • Sales Force and GovWin experience a plus

NetCentrics is seeking a Mid-level Account Manager to work with our DoD account team. The Army/Pentagon/DISA account team works collaboratively to leverage NetCentrics' Enterprise IT and Cyber Security services to build, maintain, and grow customer business. In this role, the Account Manager will be responsible for supporting revenue generation and managing new and existing business relationships and opportunities. The Account Manager is responsible for contributing to a sufficient pipeline and managing complex enterprise business opportunities to help grow NetCentrics revenue. This position will require a very strong understanding of the DoD customer's organization, technology, and end users and use that understanding to improve NetCentrics' competitive position. Specific duties include: * Maintain and grow business relationships with Industry partners, client representatives and government customers. * Maintain a minimum of $200M is pipeline targets that includes a mix of opportunities at the Identification, Qualification, and Capture phases. * Investigate and resolve government customer issues and complaints before they arise. * Assist customer and client achieve their business goals by maintaining a strong understanding of their strategy and budget. * Work with Account Managers, Solution Architects, and Subject Matter Experts to penetrate targeted accounts and achieve organic and new business growth targets. * Maintain accurate and timely records of business opportunities and ongoing account activities, which includes pipeline reporting, new customer data and revenue data for current customers. Articulate and present those business opportunities to senior management as needed. * Research, identify, and develop a business strategy regarding new opportunities for assigned customers. * Leverage NetCentrics' Business Development and Operations teams to drive a strategy to grow business. * Participate in tradeshows or conferences to identify new business opportunities. * Develop, update, and present a forecast and pipeline report on business opportunities for assigned customers. * Educate current and prospective clients and customers on NetCentrics' services and how those services can delivery enterprise services to their end users. * Maintain a high level of professionalism, diplomacy, and business acumen to always portray the company in a positive and compelling manner. Requirements: * Fully capable to use MS 365 Office Suite Tools: Word, Excel, Power Point. * Education: BA/BS Degree or equivalent. * Years of Experience: 5+ years of previous DoD Business Development experience, including tools and processes. * As a contingency to employment at NetCentrics, all candidates who are given offers must successfully pass a full background investigation including criminal history, education and employment verifications.
