Business Development Coordinator (Back-end Role)
We're Digital Surgeons, an award-winning agency that focuses on three areas- Branding, Experience Design, and Demand Generation (multi-channel) for businesses in a variety of verticals.
We're looking for a Business Development Coordinator to provide support to our BD team and to foster data-driven decision making that will directly impact our top-line growth.

What you'll do:
Identify and evaluate specific business opportunities and market trends
Provide actionable overall market and industry insights to inform and prepare pitch teams, decks, and marketing efforts
Keep up with industry trends and best practices, including utilization of new technology and web resources around prospecting and social selling
Maintain awareness of competitive activities, positioning, and pricing and develop effective approaches to competing and winning against these competitors
Support pipeline development, identification, and tracking (via CRM tool) of new opportunities
Advise on the likelihood of winning a bid, and providing competitive research to back it up
Scour RFPs for make-or-break requirements - deadlines, contacts, page limits, format, attachments, notarizations, and delivery specs
Identify and communicate resource needs for proposals and effectively manage proposal timeline
Ensure that agency resources are being applied to opportunities that are most promising and communicating accurate deal attributes to the team Supporting the development of client presentations and proposals that match our unique service offerings to a customer's specific needs
Build a repeatable and methodically driven sales process that provides full visibility to the sales pipeline activities (via a CRM dashboard)
Prepare the proposal work plan, and collect and organize proposal content, with the ultimate goal of producing well-organized and comprehensive proposals that are based on client-defined requirements
What you bring:
Three to five years of experience, preferably within professional or creative services
Outstanding research, analytical and thinking skills, with the ability to identify a problem or issue, provide analysis, and recommend responses
Exceptional written, editorial, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information in a persuasive manner
Excellent project management and organizational skills and ability to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Detail-oriented, proactive, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Able to follow directions and quickly coordinate projects with competing deadlines
Experience using CRM databases
