Job Summary: To coordinate all new business activity, participating wherever appropriate on the planning, implementing and follow-up of such activity.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Direct Lead Generation

  • Assists with developing prospect list

  • Mailer solicitations -- handling three to four mailings per year; developing with senior management an accurate, well-targeted list; maintaining and updating mailing list prior to each mailing; overseeing all details of mailing (employing agency support where necessary), etc.

  • New Business Presentations

  • Introductory or Credential Meetings

  • Schedule prospect meetings and planning sessions

  • Assist in developing agenda, format and materials for such initial meetings

  • Set up and clean up room and handle all other logistical details

  • Coordinates travel options

  • Subsequent Meetings/Presentations

  • Assist where requested by task force leader

  • Maintain tracking report on meetings for prospect and internal files

  • Coordinates travel options

  • New Business Materials

  • Coordinate planning and development of basic agency materials -- kits, brochures, pocket pieces, boards, etc. -- and assist where appropriate in developing any new or special materials needed for initial new business meetings

  • Organize and maintain central depository of all new business material and general material, i.e., fact books, questionnaire responses, basic credential charts, commercial reels, radio reels, slides, presentation boards, case histories, personal bios, photos, records of specific presentations and prospect files

  • Keep all materials updated

  • Works with Manager to assist in gathering research and analyzed prospect data to create business intelligence reports for Executive Management including reviews accounts for correct names, titles, advertising budgets, geography, agency of record, sales data, etc.

  • Assist Wherever Appropriate in Responding to RFPs

  • Serving as information resource center and obtaining and providing all relevant material to delegated task force leader

  • Assist with Manager to work with the in-house studio, broadcast and proofreading to assemble RFP response including gathering case studies and assets

  • Ensure that all business development deliverables are done on time, on budget, with the highest possible quality

  • Maintain Prospect File and Track Prospective Activity

  • Conduct preliminary research required for solicitation stage

  • Read trade magazines and business papers all pertinent information on targets and circulate where appropriate

  • Prepare and Circulate Periodic New Business Status Reports

  • Provide current activity, progress, next steps, etc.

  • Create and maintain an integrated master schedule for all business development initiatives

Effectively communicate the status of all assignments to studio and production

Work in a dual capacity as advisor to both customers and internal teams while developing best practices and managing successful field evaluation of multiphase flow meter deployments. Primary Functions: Sales Growth * Work as a Roxar Multiphase Product Specialist and work with regional sales management, sales team and service team to define sales and service growth opportunities within the target market segment or product responsibility in North America. * Build strong relationships with assigned accounts and internal connections throughout the entire sales and service cycle. * Coordinate sales efforts; collaborate with other Emerson Automation Solutions service organizations to align on and deliver complete solutions to the customer. * Provide support on complex applications to the service team, ensuring a resolution has been found and the resolution has been distributed for knowledge sharing. * Build and maintain a portfolio of service procedures, work instructions, manuals, guidelines and best practices. * Drive installed base improvement and customer satisfaction through monthly installed base reviews. * Participate and contribute to relevant technical training courses, conferences, presentations, and workshops. * Provide user training courses on various topics both externally and internally. * Deliver excellent service to internal and external customers to ensure positive commercial results. * Assist in the development and communication of new product development and ensure continuous understanding of our position, strategies, and targets within the industry. * Manage testing and trials of products at strategic accounts, leveraging divisional support as needed. Marketing * Provide input to Roxar leadership on top growth opportunities and gaps in capabilities to capitalize on. * Give direction to Roxar marketing on necessary marketing collateral and industry trends. * Develop sales and service tools that improve effectiveness and address deficiencies in sales and marketing of service. Qualifications: * History of successfully selling or providing services into onshore upstream applications. * Strong knowledge of the principals and methods of Multiphase flow metering technology. * Strong team skills and high-level ability to work with others. * Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations to multiple influence levels within customer. * Proficiency in problem-solving in a technology rich environment. Experience: * 5 years field experience including account management and project management * Experience in participating on successful teams. * Demonstrated ability to work with and influence management teams. Education: * B.S. degree in Engineering or a related field. Physical Demands: Ability to travel on a frequent basis. Work Authorization No calls or agencies please.
