Roles and Responsibilities:
Client's Gas Turbine Filtration Division (GTF) has a strong history in the supply of GT intake systems to OEMs in North America and the associated aftermarket. As part of our global growth plan, GTF is seeking to add resource to our Sales & Marketing team in this key region which will provide a vital link between new and existing customers and our business.
Reporting to the Division Sales & Marketing Manager, this is a key individual contributor and coordination role responsible for i) directing and generating business opportunities for new platform programs within the GTF division, working with current and potential customers, the Sales & Marketing team and within the New Product Commercialization process to promote the utilization of new as well as current products, and services to meet customer needs, ii) owning the current sales budget on new unit existing platforms and revenue streams within the region.
The role suits someone who is a strong networker, has a techno/commercial background, experienced in qualifying and negotiating capital project opportunities at senior level and operating in line with the Division strategic goals.
Essential Responsibilities:
Deliver the sales budget on existing new unit revenue streams within the region
Develop new platform opportunities within the region
Provide guidance and leadership to the support functions within the division to negotiate and close contracts
Build customer relationships with account key stakeholders
Manage the ROI model
Provide technical consultation and global oversight to commercial management team
Manage opportunities through Risk review process and CRM
Coordinate internal support activities to provide the customer with a seamless and exemplary level of customer experience
Drive price through the effective negotiation of contracts and deals
Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, products needs and customer base
Development of others through coaching and account ownership
Take on additional duties or projects as required, within reason, by the business to support any other part of the GTI business
Accountabilities:
Meeting or exceeding annual budget in line with business strategy
Account planning in order to maximize sales effectiveness
Communication of market/customer/account activity to leadership
Orders and sales forecasts by sector/segment/account
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or high school diploma/GED
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Application Engineering, Product Management, TechnicalSales, Commercial Management or Product Marketing
Well-established and proven organizational, communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with minimal direction
Ability to communicate with all internal levels of the business, and all levels of external customers &suppliers
Proficiency with Business tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Notes)
Willingness and ability to travel extensively in region and globally
Flexible mindset and ability/willingness to work across matrix organization
Innovative / creative background and capabilities
Premier customer service mentality and proven track record
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of or experience in gas turbine powergeneration and/or oil & gas industryor air filtration industry
Familiar with Account Management planning tools such as Miller Heiman
