Turns is looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to help manage the logistics of our fast growing tech-enabled contracting services. Individuals should thrive in a fast paced environment and be able to handle elements of customer support, project analysis,, daily management of the complex problem of ensuring that all tasks are completed by our contractors, and contribute to long term growth strategies. The ideal candidate would excel in problem solving and people skills. This individual must be a critical thinker, not easily overwhelmed, and able to pivot quickly. All of this, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and contractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary focus: prioritize customers for clients

  • Establish partnership with strategic representatives of our clients- issue resolution, customer education, and customer communications

  • Manage all aspects of the daily operations of our two way platform - onboarding of clients while setting expectations that will support a scalable growth pattern

  • Implementing and following through with strategic growth strategies

  • Negotiating deals with clients

  • Be able to handle multi-task and pivot in a timely and organized manner

  • Solve client and contractor miscommunication in a timely fashion

  • Contribute with innovative ideas to expand the business in a new region

  • Travel to multiple locations within your designated region to maintain relationships with clients and contractors

  • Work diligently in and contribute to a fun, fast-paced, and rewarding environment

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with highly motivated team members

  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting

  • Ability to quickly and effectively build partnerships with all customers

  • Bilingual (preferrably English/Spanish) preferred

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred

  • Active knowledge of construction and/or Commercial Real Estate preferred

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel

  • Active listening: Operations will need to be able to actively listen to teammates, clients, and service partners in order to interpret the core subject of the matter of the conversation. Open mindedness and forthright communication is a cornerstone for the fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment of Turns

  • Communication skills: Team members will speak with coworkers, contractors, and clients on a regular basis. Exceptional communication skills and an ability to effectively present analyses to both internal and external clients and influence change required

  • Organizational Skills:
    Multiple projects, people and many moving pieces will keep team members on their toes

  • Problem Solving Skills:
    Team members will be relied on to be market growth drivers as well as need to be ready when problems or complaints arise and be ready to respond with patience and understanding will a desire to solve the problem quickly

COMPENSATION

  • Full-time salary + commission structure negotiable based on experience

Job Summary: MarketSource, Inc. is currently seeking a Business Development Representative to represent our client, a leader in the automotive industry. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for growing and maintaining the number of Dealerships enrolled and actively utilizing the Manheim Express product in their assigned geographies. Essential Functions: * Subject matter expert on the Manheim Express product features, benefits and differentiators * Grow existing Dealership accounts utilization (postings, sales and purchases) to meet and exceed targeted levels * Cultivate and close new Dealerships in assigned territories on the Manheim Express Product to meet and exceed targeted levels * Train and consult with Dealership personnel to ensure that they maximize ROI opportunity; convey "What's in it for me?" * Conduct thorough assessment of vehicle condition following the Manheim Express Inspection process * Consult with Dealership management regarding current performance and recommend solutions for improving conversion rate/market share * Provide "hands on, show me" training at enrolled Dealerships to ensure adoption of best practices related to successful postings resulting in conversions * Assist Dealers with listings, vehicle valuations and floor pricing to increase conversions and Dealer satisfaction with the Manheim Express product * Develop and maintain strong relationships with various Dealership personnel, becoming a trusted advisor * Quickly respond to Dealership customers immediate needs * Ability to perform basic mechanical checks on vehicles including powertrain, and electrical components * Develop and maintain relationships with Manheim Express internal teams * Generate leads for other Cox Automotive business units * Utilize Salesforce.com for all daily activities, Dealership monthly reviews and lead follow-up * Attend trade shows and other business development opportunities as needed * Assimilate and effectively represent the Manheim Express culture * Team player with a focus on delivering exemplary customer satisfaction * Actively follow all communicated safety and health procedures Requisite Abilities and/or Skills: * Automotive Auction or Dealership experience strongly desired * Ability to work independently with limited supervision * Proven ability to engage with customers in a consultative manner * Proven ability to develop long term relationships with customers, providing exemplary customer service * Willingness and ability to record all activities in Salesforce.com * Ability to quickly adapt to constant changes * Proficient in Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Supervisory or Management Responsibility/Decision Making Level: * Functions as a solid team player and work closely with team members, field sales, and customer care to create a superior customer experience * Works with manager to ensure a consistent and effective customer experience, appropriate transaction processing, high customer satisfaction and service levels * Takes independent action implement new ideas or potential solutions without prompting; does not wait for others to take action or to request action * Seeks opportunities to go above and beyond job requirements in order to achieve stated goals and objectives Minimum Education and/or Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience * 2-4 years of demonstrated successful years of sales experience Additional Job Requirements: * Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged sitting. * Performs additional job duties as assigned.
