Basic Qualifications

Candidates MUST meet the following basic qualifications in order to be considered for this role:

BA/BS degree in relevant fields of Physical Sciences (Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering). General understanding of: intellectual property, business acumen, legal agreements, and client relationship building required.

The Market Development Leader will have responsibility for the identifying and standing up new sources of revenue (adjacent markets, new channels, etc.) for both Oncology & Life Sciences business units. This role will be accountable for identifying growth opportunities, refining existing product portfolios, and achieving defined revenue, clients, and other financial metrics as defined. You will be responsible for all launch excellence practices and execution across the LSO (Life Sciences & Oncology) portfolio and will own & lead the data strategy, business development, field execution and scaling of the Oncology data. Additional responsibilities include identifying revenue synergies between Life Sciences and other applicable data sets within Watson Health or external marketplace. Accountable to achieve revenue targets & associated financial metrics. Will partner with finance to lead all strategy and business requirements to fulfill annual financial cycle requirements.
