  • Buildable Business Skills for All Industries It is a great way to learn buildable and fundamental business skills, especially right out of college, to gain vital experience in a corporate setting. You will strategically manage a territory, handle objections via cold-calling and cold-emailing, learn vital interpersonal communication skills and can sell to top executives and leaders within the country (Presidents, CEOs, VPs, Superintendents, etc.). Example clients: Wayfair, Georgetown University, BIC, and UVA (just to name a few).

What does a Business Development Associate do?
  • Prospect Seek and go after potential new clients and create prospecting points to best market Hanover Researchs capabilities to companies and decision-makers so they will say yes to partnering with us.
  • Outreach Use cold-calling and cold-emailing to secure new business conversations with K-12 school districts, or higher education universities and colleges.
  • Organize Build organizational and time management skills as you maintain a territory, ongoing outreach, and your assigned Sales Directors calendar.
  • Collaborate Help your assigned Sales Director manage the sales pipeline and achieve annual revenue goals by engaging prospects throughout the steps of the sales cycle.

Located on the Upper East Side, this 23-story, 215-unit residence will offer assisted living, enhanced care and memory care. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a brand-new development, the first of its kind in New York City. This role will be a critical part of the sales team in preparation for opening. At Inspīr, we are redefining senior living. Our highly trained, caring staff will provide world-class healthcare, smart technology, farm-to-table dining and innovative wellness experiences to help residents live fuller lives. The Director of Business Development Role: Responsible for achieving maximum occupancy and total revenue potential of the property by attracting qualified prospects to the property (particularly those from professional outreach activity) and converting those prospects into residents.
