Scope
Brightway Insurance's dynamic Business Development Associate program is designed to cultivate entry level business professionals into future industry leaders. Through comprehensive training and mentorship in product knowledge, sales techniques, and business operations, you'll gain the skills needed to excel. Led by our experienced Leadership Team, you'll have the opportunity to choose from career paths upon completion: including client service, agency support, independent agency ownership, or agency development.

Job Responsibilities
Learn about our business model and successful business operation processes
Prospect warm leads on Brightways current book of business
Develop new carrier leads through prospecting and lead development
Maintain a book of business, focusing on territory development and relationship retention.
Proactively makes outbound calls or send emails to prospects to sell companys features and benefits
Under general supervision, focus on sales, leads, retention, customer service and community of Brightway with our carriers
Organize and prioritize tasks efficiently, utilizing calendars and checklists
Maintain regular communication through email and other systems
Identify opportunities for process improvement and sales development
Document activities and follow-up accurately
Collaborate effectively within a team to ensure streamlined operations.

Skills, Licenses, Certifications
Ability to obtain P&C licensure within 3 months.

Education and Experience
This position requires a bachelors degree and 0-3 years experience in a customer service or sales environment. Education or experience focused in insurance, risk management or entrepreneurship is preferred, but not required.
Essential Job functions
