Business Development Analyst-1806016
Being part of the NY Business Development team, supporting the functions of 'Financial Control' and 'Business Development and Strategic Planning' as part of the US BD CIB team.
Budget: Coordinate the information from the different business areas of CIB to integrate the budget of CIB NY/US. Analyst date and growth drivers to prepare repots and presentations to Management
Results: Monitoring of the financial results of CIB NY/US in a recurrent manner, coordinating the obtaining of information with the business areas and analyzing the current data and the business estimates. Prepare presentations for Management. Perform analysis identifying potential deviations on budget and areas of focus for the business
Reporting: Coordinate and send the financial reports (P&L, costs, balance and analysis required) to the Local Management and Global Division of the bank to monitor the overall performance of the business
Strategic Planning: Participate in the elaboration and development of the strategic plan of CIB US performing the different types of analysis, coordinating and integration the information of business areas and identifying the critical variables and levers. Prepare presentations for Management
Projects: Participate in the different projects and initiatives related to Business Development. Make analysis for different products and areas, for a better understanding of the market and /or business. Prepare materials for the Management discussion and monitoring of projects
Follow up on business plans, and coordinate the implementation of new projects
Establish, manage, and monitor the budget and quantitative objectives of the CIB NY/US
Obtain information, monitor compliance with the objectives set, resolution of incidents/inconsistencies
Send reporting and resolution incidents
Coordinate budget and initiatives with Spain and follow up on it at the CIB NY/US level
Obtain and coordinate the necessary information for budgetary monitoring, projects preparation/implementation etc.
Coordinate information delivery to and from Consultants and Auditors
Bachelors/Masters in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or Engineering preferred- but all majors welcome
Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Ability to work both independently and function within a team
Basic understanding of Banking, Financial principals, and Capital Markets
Expertise with Excel and PowerPoint presentation capabilities
Strong communication skills (Fluency in Spanish preferred)
Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
Must be particularly well-organized, responsible and capable of delivering requests on time
0-3 year's prior experience working as an Analyst or Intern for an investment or Global Corporate Bank
