Position Overview:
This position will be responsible for assisting with the strategy and execution for organic new account growth in the Southern California market, as well as identifying gaps in our market basket to existing clients. Reporting directly to the local General Manager, this role will collaborate with sales leadership and direct sellers to analyze the geography for opportunities in various product segments and developing a path for growth.
We passionately serve customers in the JanSan, Foodservice, and Industrial Packaging markets, delivering the right products and solutions to ensure their businesses are more successful everyday.
Hourly Pay: The starting pay range for the position is $28.85 to $31.25 hourly based on experience plus bonus opportunities.
This is a fully onsite position at our San Diego or Santa Ana, CA office.
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and qualify opportunities that align with BradyPlus' core competencies, strategic objectives, and growth goals.
Utilizing the ERP of the local business units (AS400, Epicore P21), Salesforce.com, Microsoft Power BI, and others, in combination with other outside informational resources, perform analysis to determine potential actionable new business opportunities for WAXIE.
Analyze local market to determine overall saturation, available vertical markets, gaps in current product bundles, or other organic growth opportunities within the Southern California area.
Maintaining constant visibility and providing status updates on key strategic prospects as defined by size or local initiative and execute periodic progress and pipeline reviews to key stakeholders.
Develop qualification process to determine which new business opportunities are viable leads to then pass on to sales leadership for distribution.
Working closely with General Manager, Sales Managers, and sales reps on communicating and closing new business opportunities.
Manage overall distribution of leads and ensuring appropriate tracking to determine which leads are converted to customers and which are not.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communication or related degree required.
Previous project management experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with heavy emphasis on Excel.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
Excels in a team-oriented work environment
Exhibits a strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Previous AS400 (Aplus) experience preferred
