Job Type: Full-time with Opportunity with Flexible Scheduling
Starting Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $75,000.00 per year

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Work with the business office and executive team to assess health plan service needs and identify new contract opportunities.
- Seek out new grant opportunities for all programs and divisions at Hillsides
- Review, research, and identify new diverse funding opportunities
- Manage multiple projects and priorities to support the business growth of Hillsides programs and projects
- Track status of grants, and manage progress of cross functional teams to grant submission and program start
- Support the contracting and credentialing process with health plans for a portfolio of behavioral health services.
- Support compliance efforts in reviewing provider contracts and manuals related to commercial health plans for Hillsides campus-based and outpatient programming
- Evaluate new business opportunities for fit and mission and alignment with Senior leadership team
- Analyze service line utilization, identifying opportunities to drive business growth and increase referrals.
- Liaise between payers and internal teams (Intake, Billing, Program Leadership, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and the executive team) as needed to procure and evaluate new opportunities
- Support the credentialing and recredentialing process with health plans.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis for strategic positioning and growth for future program growth among all Hillsides programs
- Attend and present at conferences and community events, as needed.
- Represent the agency professionally at internal and external meetings, forums, and conference as needed
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- 1 years of relevant contracting/business development experience in a managed care or healthcare industry preferred
- Preferred understanding of the interrelationships and competitive landscape of payers and providers in the Los Angeles County behavioral health market
- Valid California driver's license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
