The Business Development Analyst will be responsible for finding new business opportunities for AEP Energys multi-state electric and natural gas Municipal Aggregation program.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Routine daily prospecting calls to brokers and communities pursuing lead opportunities.
Monitor PUC websites and other news outlets for current and relevant information related to Municipal Aggregation across multiple states.
Monitor community web pages and meeting minutes for Municipal Aggregation activity.
Tracking activity using Companys Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Support community social functions from time to time as needed.
Ongoing lead pipeline development and reports.
Aid in development of sales forecast and projections.
Capture competitive intelligence and market trends.
Act as the liaison between the Municipal Aggregation and Customer Care teams.
Prepare bid responses to RFPs as needed
Assist in approvals with legal, marketing and other stakeholders

Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree required.
Position is located in Columbus, Ohio.
Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Energy experience a plus.
