Summary

As a Sales Support, you will play a crucial role in assisting the sales team in achieving their goals by providing administrative and operational support. Your responsibilities will include handling inquiries, coordinating sales activities, preparing sales documents, and ensuring smooth communication between various departments within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Inquiry Handling:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.

  • Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers.

  • Address customer concerns and escalate issues as needed to ensure resolution.

Sales Coordination:

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.

  • Coordinate sales orders and ensure accurate entry into the system.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including contact information, sales activities, and

  • communication history, in the CRM system.

  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new sales team members, providing guidance on sales processes

  • and tools

  • Follow up on sales leads and track progress through the sales pipeline.

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, and provide appropriate solutions or

  • escalate issues as needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain sales databases, CRM systems, and other relevant documentation.

  • Generate reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.

  • Organize sales meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes when required.

Liaison with Other Departments:

  • Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to support sales initiatives.

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

  • Assist in resolving any operational issues that may arise to ensure customer satisfaction.

Sales Support Analysis:

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance sales strategies and processes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales support, customer service, or related administrative roles.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, drive, meet, calendar, chat, docs, sheets, slides….) including

  • CRM software.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of sales principles and techniques is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced

  • environment.

  • Knowledge of sales principles and practices, including lead generation, pipeline management, and

  • customer relationship management.

  • A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term

  • relationships.

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to support sales events or deadlines.

  • Positive attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

  • Overnight travel may be required

Typical Experience

  • Six to eight years relevant experience.

Typical Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
