Responsibilities

The FAST Proposal Development team, based in Boise, ID and Centennial, CO, has an immediate full-time opening for a Business Development Administrator. This position plays a crucial role in the administration and coordination of new business pursuits in a variety of government markets. We are looking for someone who is based in or around Boise, ID or Centennial, CO.

Business Development Administrators support key areas of business and proposal development, including:

  • Procurement Opportunity Identification and Tracking

  • Monitor online market intelligence and procurement database services.

  • Identify, analyze, communicate, and track domestic and international government procurement opportunities that align with FastCore software solutions and system modernization services.

  • Create and coordinate written communications related to potential procurement opportunities for distribution to FAST stakeholders, including company partners and teams responsible for proposal development, marketing, client relations, legal compliance, and software development.

  • Maintain and update the status of pending and active procurement opportunities on FAST's web-based business development and collaboration platforms.

  • Proposal and Business Development Support

  • Support proposal development by:

  • Obtaining and organizing procurement documentation

  • Completing administrative forms and documentation

  • Providing proposal logistics and submission assistance

  • Collecting and maintaining marketing information related to FAST software projects and products

  • Monitor government agency websites for new or changed information and notify the Fast Proposal Development team of any updates related to active procurement pursuits (e.g., amendments to government requests for proposals and modifications to proposal submission deadlines).

  • Manage business development and marketing email communications, notifying key stakeholders of government officials' requests for information and FastCore software demonstrations.

  • Assist with updating and maintaining FAST's online proposal content library.

  • Work with the FAST Graphics team to develop proposal cover artwork and other graphics.

  • Additional Administration Processes

  • Develop and distribute routine executive-level reports and summaries of the status of proposals and business development activities.

  • Draft professional emails to communicate with government procurement officials and agency representatives.

  • Provide logistics scheduling and coordination for proposal submissions and software demonstrations.

  • Order and maintain supplies for proposal development (e.g., paper, binders, printer toner, and delivery materials).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills backed by impeccable attention to detail.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills supported by the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and communication channels in a deadline-focused environment.

  • Team player with a growth mindset who seeks new assignments and expanded responsibilities within FAST's proposal team.

  • This position requires occasional overtime and after-hours remote-monitoring of select email communications.
