Support and coordinate business continuity consulting, projects, planning, maintenance, training, and drill exercises for one or more Exelon Business functions.
Manage and administer the business impact analysis process to prioritize business function recovery by assessing quantitative and qualitative impacts of potential disruptions; share results with key stakeholders.
Provide business continuity consulting, guidance, and recommendations to employees and leadership.
Support the design and facilitation of tabletop and functional exercises; maintain recovery sites.
Support business continuity projects, planning, maintenance, training, and drill exercise activities.
Provide technical support to the administrator of business continuity software platforms.
Coordinate logistics in support of response and recovery efforts for emergencies impacting Business Units
Support the maintenance and enhancement of business recovery sites.
Provide administrative, logistical, and technical support for the assessment, development, implementation and revision of business continuity programs and plans.
Assist in creating presentations for Exelon audiences and support documentation of reports and lessons learned for actual incidents and exercises.
Develop and recommend solutions to risks identified during business impact analysis, site risk assessments, contingency planning, and other related mitigation activities.
Act as a liaison to all of Exelon's Operating Companies impacted by actual or probable business disruptions and coordinate support team response, recovery, and logistical functions.
Provide 24/7 on-call coverage for crisis management on a rotational basis.
Develop and monitor metrics to ensure leadership awareness and ownership of Business Unit preparedness, while meeting service level agreements.
Administer the business impact analysis and plan build process. Develop and recommend solutions to risks identified during business impact analysis, site risk assessments, contingency planning, and other related mitigation activities. Lead design, testing, and maintenance of functional exercises, recovery sites, emergency notifications, and crisis communications.
Provide 24/7 on-call coverage, on a rotational basis, for crisis management and situational awareness. Act as a liaison to Business Units impacted by anticipated and actual emergencies, and coordinate support team response, recovery, and logistical functions for select Business Units.
Support Business Continuity system maintenance.
Interact with all levels of employees, including executives, involved in the maintenance, review, approval, testing, and communication of business continuity and crisis management plans
Expertise in, and can speak authoritatively about, any hazards that potentially threaten Exelon's continuity of business; recommend appropriate response and recovery strategies
Expertise in business continuity planning, business impact analysis, crisis/incident management, emergency preparedness, and tools/systems associated with these functions
Able to work long hours in ambiguous environments, under demanding time constraints, with increased responsibilities, independently or in teams, while meeting critical deadlines, when necessary
Work under minimal supervision
5 years of experience in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, crisis/emergency management or comparable professional roles and Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent consulting, oral and written presentation, and project management skills
Available for 24/7 on-call rotational duties
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Certifications: Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Project Management Professional (PMP)
