Business Consultant Sr

Responsible for translating highly complex and varied business needs into application software requirements. These needs typically involve a significant expenditure or cost savings and impact a wide range of functions. Also, provides expertise to lower-level team members. This is the highest level in a career progression.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Provides expertise as a team leader to lower-level team members on the analysis of complex application software processes to determine optimal means of meeting cross-functional business needs.
Determines specific business application software requirements to address highly complex and varied business needs.
Analyzes and designs solutions with a specific focus on realizing optimal efficiencies and standardization of varied and highly complex business processes.
Responsible for managing document development software automation.

Experience:

Experience in database administration/architecture.
Knowledge of Medicare and/or Managed Care products.
Ability to aggregate data from multiple sources.
Proficient with SQL, ability to read and write.
Proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office products, particularly MS Access/Microsoft Excel and other data query tools.
Vendor partnership and management experience preferred.
SAS, Domo, Tableau, and/or Python experience strongly preferred.

Requires a BS/BA degree, 10 + years of business analysis experience, which should include analysis, project management, working knowledge of mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems; 3 + years experience as a Business Consultant with project management skills; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Ability to travel maybe required.

VIEW JOBS Position Purpose: Analyze and develop responses to the organization's most significant request for proposals (RFP's) for both reprocurements and new business opportunities.
