Business Consultant (Pharmacy Benefits) - Selected location preferred #PS18519

Summary:
Responsible for translating moderately complex and varied pharmacy needs into successful operational processes. Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems and business analysis and is able to consider the business implications of the pharmacy strategy and processes to current and future business environments.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Work with multiple clinical and non-clinical roles within clinical pharmacy operations team.

  • Utilize business applications to address complex and varied business needs.

  • Analyzes and designs solutions to address complex and varied business needs.

  • Consults with business partners concerning application and implementation of processes and strategies to meet operational success.

  • Requires a BS/BA degree, minimum 8 years of business analysis experience, which should include analysis, project management, working knowledge of mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Approx.10% travel maybe required.

Pharmacy Service Coordinator I/Sr. (multiple locations) - PS18737 The Pharmacy Service Coordinator I/Sr. is responsible for overseeing the flow of operational functions & activities assisting in the development & implementation of complex pharmacy benefit products. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: * Understands the intricacies of complex prescription drug benefits and how they adjudicate. * Understands and interprets client requests for new benefit designs. Coordinates, conducts and/or supports internal and external client meetings or training sessions. * Works with multiple departments and sources in order to accommodate the needs of our clients; this includes claim processing, customer service, & medical account management. * Oversees benefit set up process to ensure complex pharmacy product changes occur with minimal disruption. * Develops, reviews, and researches capabilities of pharmacy system to accommodate drug benefit design requested by clients or suggested by medical teams. * Requires a BA/BS in related field; minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Services Coordinator experience and at least 5 years of customer service/claims/membership experience in healthcare; of which 3 years related pharmacy experience with working knowledge of pharmacy benefit management industry; or any equivalent combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. * Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
