Position Overview

Leads significant corporate standardization initiatives and is accountable for maximizing business performance by providing process training, subject matter expert guidance, follow up and metrics-based reporting to management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand, improve and standardize key processes resulting in improved financials.

  • Introduce and replicate initiatives to drive significant customer and/or associate retention throughout the organization.

  • Utilize a hands-on teamwork approach and persuasive communication skills to identify and leverage existing Best Practices to standardize processes across the company and improve business results.

  • Lead and influence the overall standardization effort through consistent messages and actions with unyielding determination.

  • Identify additional opportunities to improve current systems and processes to enable standardization of processes in a more efficient manner.

  • Identify and implement, as directed, opportunities to develop new systems and processes (innovation) through dedicated projects.

  • Provide training and mentoring to continuous improvement team members and/or field associates in the areas of statistical analysis, six sigma and process improvements.

  • May lead and manage project team(s) to develop and execute initiatives focusing on business model innovation and/or process improvement, manage pilot programs for testing models and solutions, provide subject matter expertise for strategic decision making and change management, ensure initiatives are aligned and integrated with existing operations, and apply quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess, monitor, and evaluate results.

Job Requirements

  • Project Management Experience, or 5 years related business experience with a 4 year

  • Undergraduate degree required or equivalent combination of education or experience

  • MBA Preferred

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred and/or the ability to perform meaningful statistical analysis are needed in order to confirm validity of identified Best Practices.

  • A willingness to learn new process improvement tools is required as well. Broad strategic thinker with a change management mindset

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles, methodologies, and practices preferred

  • Business process analysis skills

  • Willingness to be accountable for business results outside of their immediate control

  • Excellent project management and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently in order to meet deadlines

  • Effective process training and excellent communication skills

  • Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively guide front line Associates

  • Ability to overcome any roadblocks to standardization that may occur

  • Written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations

  • Skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Incumbent is required to have:

  • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm's reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.

When we say Infinite Possibilities, we mean it. PURPOSE: The IT Business Consultant I will provide broad analytical support in meeting the vision of Cash Management operations. The ideal candidate will work with business and corporate staff groups to understand business needs/requirements, analyze and recommend solution alternatives, and work across IT functional groups and process teams to deliver solutions effectively. He/she will participate in the business process redesign and documentation as needed, and translate customer high level requirements into functional specifications for IT development. This position is expected to work on all phases of SAP sustain, enhancement, and project delivery. The focus of this position will tend to be more technical in nature; however a robust understanding of business process and Finance or Accounting is also required. Deliverables include process and program functional specifications, documentation, training materials, and presentation of training materials for knowledge transfer to end users. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Analyze current business processes, identify and communicate improvement opportunities, and conduct design through implementation activities to realize opportunities. This also includes development and delivery of training as appropriate. * Focus will be on technical system processes, with particular emphasis on system interfaces with both internal (e.g. other IP systems) and external (e.g. banks) partners. * Lead assigned enhancement and project delivery tasks, which includes developing and managing project plans, coordinating multiple resources across multiple process areas, and reporting project status. * Actively participate with other groups, primarily other IT organizations, to develop and implement seamless system solutions that support business activities. * Successfully utilize PDP methodology to accurately assess, design, and test and implement projects based on business requirements. * Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on projects. KEY CHALLENGES: * Manage complex interaction and communication between IT BIM, PIM, ITSS providers, Corporate Staff Group(s), and Businesses. * Understand the internal processes, procedures, and policies of IT and ITSS. * Ensure all processes and supporting technology remain consistent around the globe, while simultaneously flexing to meet country and business specific requirements. Current "footprint" is over 360 locations in 24 countries and 13 languages. * Prioritize assigned tasks and requests. * Develop and foster effective working relationships with potentially diverse organizations and people. * Develop a general understanding of SAP R/3 cross functional processes – General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Credit & Collections, Treasury/Cash Management, Procurement, Capital Projects, Asset Management, and Plant Maintenance. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or related field of study is preferred.
