We are currently accepting applications for a Business Clerk Administrative Assistant in Atlanta GA. This is a 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension based on funding of position.

Position General Description

Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, scanning, filing, and copying. Use Microsoft Word & Excel to prepare documents. Handle incoming calls from internal and external customers. Maintain agency floor plans. Handle Facilities Maintenance related questions and troubleshoot problems. Completed additional duties, as assigned.

Position Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Business or equivalent years of experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently as well as in team environments, often under tight deadline situations.

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.

  • Ability to give and receive detailed information through oral communication.

VIEW JOBS 11/10/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-08T00:00 Moore Colson is currently seeking a seasonal administrative assistant to to assist our Tax department during peak volume months (January tthrough mid- April). This is a great opportunity to join a team that serves clients with distinction and rewards employee performance. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Tax Return Processing * Tax returns (individual, business, non-profit, etc.): Log, scan, process, print as requested * Print/prepare processing control sheet for returns * Mailing / routing of returns, tax notice replies, etc. * Scan and file signed E-file forms, engagement letters, and brokerage statements from clients, etc. * Administrative Responsibilities * Tax filing * Create / assemble (paper) filings * Correspondence, letters, memos, certified mail preparation, etc. * Cleanliness of tax processing room * Other scanning and support for tax team as needed * Front desk phone relief (on rotation) * Busy season support as needed for Saturday lunches and evening dinners QUALIFICATIONS: * Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and familiarity working in network environments, and working with office equipment is required * Flexibility to work until at least 7pm nightly and some Saturdays, as needed BEHAVIORAL ATTRIBUTES: * Highly detail oriented * Ability to multi-task * Strong client service focus * Integrity * Organized * Team player, collaborative If you meet these qualifications and would like to work for one of Atlantas top accounting firms, we want to hear from you.
