The Business Capture Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating non-standard proposal efforts and large, strategic opportunities within the commercial sales team in pursuit of new business and contract expansions.
This position offers the opportunity to connect with a wide array of influencers and key stakeholders including Bell senior leadership and valued customers. You will coordinate with our sales team to help develop winning proposals, support customer negotiations and contribute to the company's overall success in the commercial market.
Responsible for supporting the pursuit of revenue from larger, more complex entities / agencies.
Maintain direct capture accountability on strategic capture efforts
Support capture management by coordinating competitor analysis, performance analysis, weight analysis, etc., in alignment with firm strategy and objectives
Utilize capture tools (e.g., GovWin, FedBizOpps)
Maintain pipeline of opportunities in a collaborative digital workspace
Review and interpretation of all requests for proposals (RFP's)
Assist and advise in efforts throughout the proposal process to include proposal writing, editing and proofing
Assist with developing win-strategy, overall capture strategies, technical strategies and pricing strategies to shape and secure contracts
Maintain ability to work closely with related corporate functions as needed to advance new business strategies
Assist in identifying risks and interpreting solicitation requirements
Support the identification, vetting and final negotiation of contracts/agreements that facilitate business partnerships on captured efforts
At least 5 years' related experience
Proven ability to become the subject matter expert working with RFI's and RFQ's (that could range up to 400 pages in length)
Demonstrated success managing stages of various projects simultaneously
Must have the ability and desire to work in a highly dynamic, complex, and deadline-intensive environment
Proficiency with full suite of Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally
Preferred Skills and Experience:
