Job Overview
The Business Applications Analyst II with D365FO experience role assists the business applications (SCM) lead in supporting all Bastian Solutions daily operations utilizing internal supply chain centric IT systems. This primary objective of this role is to effectively support all other Bastian Solutions personnel in using and optimizing the organizational ERP and related systems. This individual will help support daily operations, manage support tickets, and implement new system functionality. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of supply chain management and ERP systems and would have an eagerness to support/collaborate with others.
Job Functions
Support all activities related to Bastian business units utilizing organizational supply chain management business applications including ERP system and all supplementary systems
Demonstrate excellent customer service to internal Bastian customers by providing timely support on inquiries, issues and tickets
Work directly with business users to define current business requirements and help implement solutions utilizing the organizational supply chain business applications
Create technical design documents and work directly with software developers to help implement new system customizations and functionality
Test newly released system functionality and in-house customizations to better support defined business needs
Help train business users on supply chain business applications functionality and processes
Cross-train with teammates to help support all organizational operations and initiatives when required
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP (D365 Finance and Operations - formally AX) is required
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
Direct experience working in manufacturing, distribution, and/or logistics industries
Knowledgeable of basic concepts relating to ERP, WMS, MRP, PLM, or other supply chain centric IT systems
Understanding of Project management methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle
Would prefer employee to be based in Carmel, Indiana or within Central Indiana that is able to commute to headquarters.
Travel Requirements
Preferred Skills and Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree focused in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or technology/ IT systems
Prefer to have 3 plus years of experience of working with D365FO
Familiarity with ERP systems and other SCM oriented business applications
Knowledgeable of basic supply chain concepts including manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, and order processing
Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical users across multiple internal departments
Ability to collaborate with others from business users, teammates, and development personnel
Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship
