The Information Technology Business Applications Analyst will be located in our Los Angeles office, handling a wide range of responsibilities including business application administration, security, support and training. Additionally, the Business Applications Analyst will work closely with the technology staff in all offices to implement initiatives across the enterprise.

Success in the position will require exceptional communication skills, multi-tasking and troubleshooting abilities. Periodic travel and after-hours work will be required.

What You Will Be Doing

You will
Be first point of contact for technical issues and initiatives related to enterprise applications
Work with large datasets across different systems to develop and create customized spreadsheets, reports, and charts
Meet with departments to understand business processes and develop, implement and support business workflows
Help develop strategies and implement ways to better integrate data across various critical business applications
Assist with administration of Portfolio Management platform, Portfolio Rebalancer platform, and client portal
Assist with administration, integration, and reporting needs of HRIS system.
Assist with implementation of Document Management System and ongoing administration.
Implement applications security and cybersecurity controls, and support ongoing cybersecurity program
Investigate process and security improvements
Prepare and maintain procedures and guides for end users and IT staff
Troubleshoot technical issues related to application functionality. Track and follow issues through to resolution
Train employees on software applications, new technologies and best practices
Perform other duties as assigned

What You Need for this Position

Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technology field.
Experience with the following:
Supporting users in a regulated financial services environment
Marketing Automation Platform Integration with CRM
Portfolio Management Reporting applications
Enterprise Document Management System
At least four years of experience in maintenance, support, configuration and implementation of business applications
Experience with database administration or complex datasets
Experience with Salesforce CRM
Experience with portfolio management systems and/or other enterprise level FinTech applications.
Familiarity with information and cybersecurity protocols, especially in a financial services environment
High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Strong analytical skills and methodical problem solving
Experience providing remote technical support by email, phone and remote assistance applications
Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical individuals
Exceptional oral and written communications skills within a diverse office environment
Customer service oriented and comfort working with all levels of employees
Capacity to prioritize a variety of tasks and heavy volume of work
Dexterity with learning new skills and staying current with rapidly changing technology
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
