The Business Application Analyst I provides assistance in supporting BH Division in financial applications including McKesson GL, Allscripts ERP Report Writer, and Oracle Hyperion Budget and Smartview.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Responsible for system administration and application support for Oracle Budgeting and Smartview platform, Allscripts ERP Report Writer, and McKesson General Ledger to include user security and adding Hospitals, departments, accounts to system infrastructure.

  • Creates new and maintains existing ERP reports including report hierarchies, row and column calculations.

  • Provides enterprise wide end user support with data validation, data migration and process management to ensure timely and accurate financial data migration and reporting including monthly actual and annual budget for all financial reporting entities.

  • Supports operating companies and corporate staff in development of annual strategic and operating plans.

  • Participates in the implementation of ongoing improvements/enhancements related to all financial system applications and related closing and financial management reporting processes.

  • Trains end users in McKesson General Ledger, Allscripts ERP Report Writer, and Oracle Hyperion Budget and Smartview.

  • Performs other duties as assigned / required.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. 1-3 years (3-5 years preferred) experience with financial systems and procedures, data verification, and a solid understanding of financial concepts. Experience with Oracle or McKesson preferred.

Little or no travel required.

This role has a focus on eliciting requirements and designing technology solutions according to identified business needs in collaboration with Process Owners, Developers, Vendors and stakeholders. * Supports: Business solutions in the following areas – Enterprise wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) * Deliverables May Include: User Requirement Specifications, Functional Specification, Configuration Specification, Design Specification, System Operations Procedure, Test Cases, Demos and prototypes of proposed and planned IAM integration * Provide support for the following software: IAM: SailPoint IIQ, SailPoint SSO, SailPoint Security IQ Key Responsibilities: Analyzing and Defining requirements * Responsible for the elicitation and analysis of requirements in collaboration with Process Owners, Developers, Vendors and stakeholders, and effectively translating these into functional /configuration requirements of the target solution. Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions. Design and Configuration * Responsible for identifying the design of the target solution and preparing the required system design documentation (architectural specifications, diagrams and charts, functional and configuration specifications) to ensure the visualization of the technical implementation of user requirements, and to provide direction to system programmers. Collaborates with Infrastructure specialists to deliver the target technology environment. * Implements the design by means of configuration and software development using internal and external resources. Testing and Validation * Prepares test cases and scripts that are relevant to the design and functional requirements while adhering to CSL defined quality and governance standards and procedures. Collaborates with Process Owners/Business stakeholders to ensure test applicability. Conducts and may assist with the coordination of system functional testing with internal or external resources as directed. Training * Prepares training materials and user manuals. Designs and conducts user training sessions with emphasis on relating the configuration and technical setup to the functional/business requirements. Operations and Support * Responsible for the ongoing operation and maintenance of applications for the assigned IT functional areas. This includes providing 2nd or 3rd level incident support, change management, and maintaining the upkeep of technical records and documentation. * Proactively communicates the status of ongoing daily support and problem resolution. * Ensures effective problem analysis and resolution of issues of moderate scope in a timely fashion and escalates issues when needed to appropriate levels of IT or Business. * Provides off hours support as it relates to IT functional area. Project Work * Assumes project responsibilities as assigned for small to moderate scale projects (in terms of cost, scope and business function), that are either locally or globally managed.
