Utilize the specific functional domain and testing expertise that is critical to support EmblemHealth's business-led, technology-enabled Transformation. Support the testing activities for the business and technology transformation agenda and the alignment of EmblemHealth business and Cognizant technical and testing resources.
Oversee and drive planning, execution, implementation, and continuous improvement of a QA/Testing activities in a functional domain (e.g. sales, marketing, product, benefits, providers, membership, claims, customer service).
Monitor Cognizant QA/testing performance for compliance with contractually Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Collaborate and coordinate testing activities across business functions and competencies to eliminate organizational silos.
Facilitate communication and information sharing across within the department and across the organization.
Champion and monitor adherence to industry leading QA/Testing practices.
Contribute and share health plan industry and EmblemHealth-specific functional and technical subject matter expertise.
Drive prioritization and decision making based on EmblemHealth's strategic objectives, corporate values, and program guiding principles.
Facilitate timely decision making to avoid negative impact to the transformation timeline.
Identify risks and participate in the development and monitor the implementation of comprehensive mitigation strategies.
Serve as a point of escalation for EmblemHealth business and Cognizant technical and testing.
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business or equivalent
10+ years of experience required
Broad understanding of the healthcare industry and EmblemHealth's position in the industry required
Understanding of EmblemHealth's business and IT strategies required
Ability to lead and work within cross-functional teams and matrix organizations required
Established credibility within the organization required
Willingness to collaborate with and support colleagues to solve problems required
