The Job

We are looking for a Business Analytics Manager to help develop and refine the strategy of our Collections line of business, as well as support key operational processes that are important to that business. Your responsibilities will be to build out and continuously improve the collections strategy, increasing effectiveness while balancing operational costs. Day to day responsibilities may include:

  • Using data and analysis to identify opportunities to improve Collections effectiveness and efficiencies

  • Developing, executing and evaluating tests for improving performance

  • Developing tools/offers for Collections customers

  • Develop a suite of monitoring and reporting dashboards that display business results

  • Support the development and maintenance of demand, staffing, and expense forecasting models

  • Partner with Data Engineering to automate recurring processes

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to implement solutions and influence product roadmaps

  • Setting performance targets for Operations personnel

  • Continuously identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Develop junior analysts to drive business results

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience using data analytics to solve complex business problems

  • Experience answering unstructured business questions and work independently to drive projects and analytical tasks to conclusion

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Working knowledge of SQL

  • Strong communication, organization, and inter-personal skills

  • Strong attention to detail with qualitative skills

  • Strong passion for Aura's mission

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • An energetic, driven, fun and generally awesome personality!

Bonus points to have:

  • Experience with Debt Collections strategies in the consumer lending space, both pre and post charge off

  • Start-up experience in a fast-paced environment
