Our esteemed Client is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst/QA Analyst to join the team!

About the Role:

In this dynamic role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of our software products. You'll combine your business acumen with your testing expertise to identify and address potential issues. You'll also collaborate closely with developers to deliver high-performing, reliable software.

Responsibilities:

• Testing:
  • Design and execute test plans for various software functionalities.
  • Perform manual testing using diverse methodologies like functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency.
  • Identify, document, and report software defects with meticulous detail.
• Business Analysis:
  • Analyze software requirements and translate them into actionable test cases.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand product features and functionalities.
  • Assist with resolving technical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Support Service Desk tickets related to software functionality.
• Communication and Documentation:
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
  • Communicate effectively with development teams to report issues and collaborate on solutions.
  • Positively represent the agency and maintain professional relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree and at least 3-5 years of experience in software testing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and testing tools.
• Proficiency in various testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance).
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and the ability to create and execute test scripts (a plus).
• Familiarity with programming languages, especially scripting languages like Python or Java (a plus).
• Excellent analytical skills to identify test scenarios and design effective test cases.
• Meticulous attention to detail for thorough defect identification and documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with evolving technologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with customer service practices and best practices (a plus).
• Knowledge of basic business processes and procedures (a plus).
