Job Details: Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organizations systems and capabilities. Translates high level business requirements into user stories and functional specifications and manages changes to such specifications. Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation. Possesses an understanding of technological trends (preferably analytics) and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprises competitive edge.


Manages one or more high-level, complex technical IS projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements. Responsibilities may include all phases of system development life cycle (i.e. requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, change management, and implementation). Coordinates and directs the activities of project team members.

Ensures all project requirements and/or objectives are documented.

Skills:
expertise in running medium to large scale IS projects; excellent understanding of project management processes and procedures; experience with Agile approach and analyst methodologies and best practices; strong analytical skills; strong MS Project, MS Word, Visio, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills; understanding of systems for sharing and collaboration; excellent communication skills to work with cross-program resources.

The Project Manager works closely with the Global Biosimilars cross functional product team and provides program management support for all phases of drug development and therapeutic areas of focus. He or she is responsible for the optimal development of a global tactical plan to support strategic execution of product development deliverables. Focus will be determined by strategic priorities including Process Development, Operations, Development, etc. The Project Manager will work across products, and under the guidance of multiple technical leaders and functional experts to ensure that all aspects of biosimilar development are carefully considered. The Project Manager will apply project management best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of projects.
