Business Analyst, Walmart Account

Position Summary

The Business Analyst, Walmart Account position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Sales for the Walmart Sales Team. The primary responsibility of the Business Analyst is to work in collaboration with sales, supply chain, and category management to identify and optimize sales growth opportunities.

Essential Tasks, Duties, & Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and maintain Weekly Sales Reports.

• Work closely with Sr. Director & team to analyze the Walmart business determining risks, opportunities, and action steps needed to achieve and improve profit, volume and share growth.

• Analyze data to generate effective pre-promotion forecasting and planning, and post-promotion analysis to measure promotion effectiveness.

• Assist with the needs of the Walmart Buying and Planning Teams regarding daily operations.

• Utilize Item 360 to create promotional displays.

• Manage modular details, timelines, & forms collaborating closely with internal and Walmart modular teams.

• Provide accurate sales data and insights to account manager for Line Reviews, Joint Business Planning meetings, Quarterly Business Meetings, and other customer meetings.

• Utilize Luminate, DSS, and Circana for ad hoc reports and projects as needed.

• Act as a liaison with Customer Marketing, supply chain team, and third-party teams to drive business priorities and manage timelines.

• Work in tandem with Modular Management to improve the space and location of Markwins Beauty Brands utilizing both customer and syndicated data.

• Assess and monitor competition both online and in stores to identify trends within the marketplace.

• Perform other duties as needed and directed by management.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of business experience in Sales, Category Management, or Retail Management.

• 2-4 years of experience analyzing data in relation to Walmart/Sam's Club.

• Must be proficient with Retail Link, Item 360, NOVA. Luminate experience preferred but not mandatory.

• Must have advanced skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Attention to detail and organizational/time management skills.

• Proven ability to analyze and manage high SKU counts/complexity (500+ SKU's).

• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Aptitude for problem solving.

• Ability to work with data from multiple sources, interpret the data, and turn into actionable conclusions.

• Desire to work in a fast-moving, engaging, dynamic team environment.

• Goal orientated and results driven.

• Experience working in Circana and ProSpace.

• Flexibility to travel as required - 1 to 2 times per year.
