The American College of Cardiology's (ACC) Information Technology Registry and BI Products department is a key intermediary between ACC's Business Units and the technological implementation of new/existing products for ACC's interventional cardiology-based data registries. This position provides exemplary support to the National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR)'s data collection software vendors through thorough knowledge of the registry software and configuration, the vendor webservices, and by providing vendor software certification services.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the day-to-day vendor account manager and primary point of contact for NCDR data collection software vendors
Provide expert system support and vendor certification services for data collection software vendors, both independently as well as in conjunction with NCDR scrum teams to triage and resolve issues
Advocate for data collection software vendors within the NCDR
Continuously evolve vendor product management by applying quality improvements through best practices, standards and customer focus to tools and processes while identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency
Provide reporting on vendor certification activities and status to the NCDR management
Bring best practice and commitment to problem solving including skills to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problems and queries, and escalate as appropriate according to defined processes.
Work with the third-party software vendors to certify their software based on ACC vendor specifications.
Bachelors degree required
2+ years of business analysis experience
Ability to read xml
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to make effective presentations, develop technical documentation, and interact effectively in team settings serving multiple levels of stakeholders.
Possess the ability to distill information based on specific user/business needs as well as decompose high level feature requirements into detailed functional requirements.
Experience developing test scenarios and test data and testing software products
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Keen attention to detail
Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of healthcare industry or medical terminology
Experience reading/writing SQL queries
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
