Project ECHO recently completed development of a strategic plan that will enable us to reach 1 billion people by 2025. One of the 4 key strategies identified in the plan is the development of the ECHO Digital platform to support key aspects of what it takes to launch, operate and participate in Project ECHO.

In order to build a successful global platform, we will need to reimagine all aspects of Project ECHO in a digital way and make them universally accessible to our users. In order to accomplish that, we are seeking a Business Analyst to guide development of features for the platform from conception to launch. The Business Analyst will build and manage a product road-map.

You will play an integral role in :

  • Working closely with our internal teams and global partners to identify the core of what makes teleECHO programs successful and translate this into functional requirements for the platform.

  • Developing in-software training and supplementing with additional asynchronous and in-person training sessions for our users

  • Developing a system for providing effective and efficient support for our global users via email, online platform, chat and telephone.

  • Breaking down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Soft skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and is customer focused; you will collaborate with other product owners, UI/UX designers, project managers and software developers to design services that our customers will love.

Conditions of EmploymentMinimum Qualifications

Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualification:

  • Demonstrated ability to gather user requirements across diverse functional areas and convert them into a compelling product vision

  • Demonstrated ability working with technical teams to rapidly produce prototypes and iterations

  • Ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends

  • Experience with agile software development methodologies, specifically Scrum

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

Federal financial management/accounting and SAP experience is required. This candidate will work directly with the client, so should have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work independently and take ownership of tasks. Your future duties and responsibilities: 1) Create and update training materials related to federal financial management and the Financial Management Modernization Initiative (FMMI), USDA'S SAP application. 2) Participate in meetings with the client to finalize the scope for the training and determine content accordingly. 3) Assist in conducting the training. 4) Leverage expertise to provide direction and support to our customer. 5) Knowledge share with CGI team members. 6) Identify and communicate risks and issues to CGI management. 7) Be an active participant in business development activities. (E.g., discuss challenges with client, identify potential solutions/opportunities and discuss with CGI management and client as needed, etc.) Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of Federal financial management/accounting experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education) * Strong SAP Financials (FI), Controlling (CO), Funds Management (FM), and/or Materials Management (MM) module experience. * Strong training experience. * Interface management experience and/or SAP Process Integration (PI) experience. * Strong MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) skills. * Strong analytical skills. * Strong customer service skills.
