Data Management Division REPORTS TO (Job Title): Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) AVAILABLE LOCATIONS: Diamond Bar, CA FSLA: ☐exempt ☐ non-exempt GENERAL FUNCTION / SUMMARY We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. This role is critical to our operations, combining data analysis, market research, and business strategy to support decision-making across multiple insurance and financial service sectors, including: · Life Insurance & Annuities (Primary focus) · Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance · Auto Insurance · Group Health Insurance · Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) Services · Pension Plans & Tax Strategies · Financial Planning The ideal candidate will have a strong research background, capable of conducting quantitative data collection, cleaning, statistical analysis, and presenting insights to senior management.

This role requires expertise in ETL processes, Excel modeling, and Power BI, with experience in strategic business analysis. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Data Analysis & ETL Management · Extract, clean, and transform large datasets to provide actionable insights. · Work with Snowflake and Power BI to integrate data, create reports, and enhance visualization. · Conduct ETL operations in Excel, ensuring data consistency and usability. · Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Market Research & Competitive Analysis · Conduct comprehensive market research to support various insurance divisions. · Analyze industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitive positioning. · Provide marketing insights and recommendations to enhance business strategies. · Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and present them to leadership.

Business Strategy & Operational Efficiency · Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction strategies. · Develop business models and test hypotheses to improve company operations. · Assist in evaluating new business opportunities, partnerships, and investments. · Support strategic decision-making through data-driven recommendations. Reporting & Presentation · Translate complex data into clear and compelling reports for executive leadership. · Build interactive dashboards using Power BI to track performance metrics. · Provide monthly and quarterly business updates with key performance insights. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field. · 3 years of experience in business analysis, market research, or financial consulting. · Strong quantitative research skills, including data collection, statistical analysis, and strategic insights. · Advanced Excel expertise (ETL, pivot tables, macros, financial modeling). · Experience with Power BI for data visualization. · Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver insights effectively.

Preferred qualifications: · Masters in business administration. · Experience in the insurance or financial services industry. · Proficiency in SQL for data extraction. · Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analysis. · Knowledge of market research methodologies specific to the insurance sector.
