Premion is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as an essential member of the Premion Product Development team that builds, administers, and maintains process and technology to enable Premion current and future systems. This role is required to understand each core business area's current processes and their concerns to be able to communicate to the technology teams and other functional teams within and external to Premion. Serve as the liaison between business units, technology, and external business partners.
Develop and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with external technology and business partners to design and/or influence system improvements that impacts Premion priorities.
Define requirements, scope and process to meet the key business partners business strategy and objectives.
Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and validating detailed functional specifications
Partner with program management team to define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget
Manage project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions with internal Premion teams and external system partners
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in Media/Broadcast/Digital industry 3+ years as either business analyst or technology business analyst
Proven experience leading and documenting process and requirements
Experience working with external systems vendors
Excellent communication skills
Experience with digital/OTT systems (Placements.io, FreeWheel, Salesforce, dashboards, etc.)
Prior experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
