Business Analyst

Role: Business Analyst /Manual tester with Yython knowledge

Location: Vacaville, San Francisco, USA

Responsibilities:

1.Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to data and information flow. Translate business requirements into detailed system documentation (not user stories).

2.Collaboration with Development Teams: Collaborate with software developers to ensure alignment between system diagrams and actual system implementation. Provide guidance on data-related best practices during the development process.

3.Business Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business units to understand their content management needs. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment.

4.Business Requirements Analysis: Lead the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business requirements from stakeholders. Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.

5.Project Management: Lead and manage business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality requirements documentation.

6.Quality Assurance and Testing: Develop test plans and participate in quality assurance activities. Ensure that content-related systems meet business requirements and are user-friendly.

7.Knowledge of Python will be a bonus

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Expected Attributes from the role:

At least 1 -2 years of work experience

English level: B2/C1

1.Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

2.Knowledge of Manual testing

3.Basic knowledge of Python

4.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

5.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.

6.Practical knowledge in scope of business analysis area for IT solutions

7.Analytical thinking ability, collecting requirements, creating use cases, modeling business processes, conducting workshops techniques

8.Good ability to elicit and define requirements on many levels (User requirements, functional and non-functional requirements)

9.Defining and setting the scope of the project/release/sprint
