For this role, you will be part of a team of Business Analysts within the Medicare Star Data Operations and Quality team. As a Business Analyst, you will support and assist the team with primary business analyst work. You will be part of a team that is accountable for ensuring our business operations provide stellar, efficient, and scalable service to internal customers while ensuring operational excellence and continuity.
Assist and contribute as a BA on a team that is responsible for the daily operations and enhancements to a portfolio of Data Management and Business Intelligence assets utilized for STAR Quality rating improvements
Assist in interviewing business stakeholders to determine business needs related to STAR Quality rating improvements
Drive best practices in business process improvement initiatives through the documentation of user stories, business requirements and other written deliverables within an AGILE framework
Support and assist in partnership with BA, PM, development and QA teams to deliver new solutions and enhance existing solutions
Analyze and optimize business processes, monitor and manage KPIs
Experience defining requirements for reporting
Experience assisting in successful execution of operational deliverables, developing action plans to accomplish goals and providing ongoing updates on progress
Demonstrated passion and commitment to positive and effective customer service with track record of matching capabilities to meet/exceed customer expectations
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Knowledge of HEDIS and Star Quality Specifications
2 years of progressive leadership experience as a business analyst
Ability to maintain focus and a positive attitude in ambiguous or high pressure situations
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment which requires creativity and self-motivation
