Job Overview:

Elicits and translates business and/or technical needs to relevant documentation for a Salesforce implementation and ongoing support. Establishes the consensus among stakeholders and/or project team members in relationship to assigned deliverables. Provides leadership and a collaborative approach to integrate the stakeholders, project team members, and technical service teams involved in sales solutions development related activities. Acts as a driver of collaboration across project and service teams and serves as a liaison for project managers, managers, directors, stakeholders and other leadership as appropriate. Capable of performing on multiple enterprise level projects/initiatives and can be assigned as a mentor to work closely with BSA I and BSA II team members, guiding them to execute job functions and related processes in alignment with company standards. This position also regularly contributes to the identification and/or delivery of sales solutions and process improvements.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Leads the gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation of business and / or technical needs using interviews, workshops, modeling techniques.

  • Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions. Complete the configuration for user stories within Salesforce and other UNFI sales solutions.

  • Documents business and / or technical needs using advanced textual, and visual, modeling deliverables designed to help UNFI meet its strategic objectives, in accordance with the UNFI methodology.

  • Facilitates dialogue with business stakeholders to identify, develop, and document business objectives and technology solutions.

  • Lead team building and self-driven skill development through active participation in appropriate training, mentoring, and certification programs.

  • Leads interaction with business owners, subject matter experts and project team members, collaborating to identify, develop, and document potential business and technology solutions.

  • Identifies, manages, and tracks business and technical needs objectives throughout the project's lifecycle.

  • Demonstrates ability to lead project through lifecycle, including implementation, configuration and change management, test and deployment.

  • Identifies, evaluates, and communicates issues and risks, related to business processes to project.

  • Integrates with other disciplines and service teams to ensure integration of analyst deliverable and process improvement efforts.

  • Leads day-to-day business interaction and business expectations in relationship to assigned deliverables, with the guidance of functional manager, project manager, and mentor.

  • Follows and maintains UNFI Project Management Office (PMO) methodolgies.

  • Demonstrates advanced practical and applied knowledge of packaged methodologies such as the Rational Unified Process, Agile and SCRUM

  • Develop collaborative relationships with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, functional domain leadership, and other Technical Services disciplines and service teams.

  • Researches and recommends emerging industry best practices in software development lifecycles

  • Leads communication across multiple Supervalu Technical Services disciplines, teams and organizations while bridging consensus across their varied interests and priorities

  • Assists with the development of content to support mentoring, skill building training, or tool related improvements.

  • Actively participates and collaborates in the Requirements Management Discipline and obtains peer review feedback to grow and develop skills.

  • Conducts assessments of how existing requirements management collateral (documentation, research or other materials) can be more effectively utilized throughout their related functional domain, where applicable.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred.

  • 6-8 years of relevant Salesforce and other sales solutions work experience preferred. 2-4 years of general business experience preferred.

  • Preferred work experience in IT/Technical Services, retail or supply chain organizations.

  • Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills used to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, while reconciling discrepancies. Demonstrates effective technical system and business function documentation skills.

  • Demonstrates the ability to bring applicable project aligned groups together and facilitate cross-group issues and potential competing priorities.

  • Demonstrates ability to resolve complex problems, obtaining advice from key subject matter experts as needed. Possesses advanced leadership and facilitation skills characterized by independent work and driving of results.

  • Some travel may be required to accomplish job duties
