What you will be doing

The Integration Business Analyst is responsible for the design and implementation of the integration services, APIs, and other interfaces around FIS' suite of Financial Services Applications.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops, writes and communicates integration requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of integration solutions

  • Responsible for generating the mapping documentation (Incoming contract to Backend contract)

  • Provide assistance in business case development (i.e. research, data collection) & breakdown high level information into detailed workable requirements

  • Knowledge and experience with service/API patterns including protocols and formats such as SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON

  • Knowledge and experience with service/API contract/schema definition patterns such as WSDL, XSD, and SWAGGER

  • Knowledge with non-real-time or batch interfaces including asynchronous design and typical batch interface formats (flat file, CSV, etc.)

  • Experience and knowledge with FIS Core Systems (Systematics, Profile7, Profile8, etc.) and systems, and the related native services/interfaces

  • Aptitude and ability to quickly research and obtain necessary knowledge around system's API/interface

What you bring:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to support application development teams in understanding API contracts and functionality as they consume the FIS APIs

  • Ability to debug integration issues via Postman, SOAPUI, etc.

  • Ability to demonstrate API flow discussions (workflow and orchestration of multiple API calls)

  • Skill in understanding and focusing on the clients' needs and goals, establishing credibility and building relationships with clients

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills and experience

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

  • FinTech industry experience is essential

In this role you will lead and deliver FIS product implementations using core agile principals. Understand and mold process change by integrating new processes with existing ones while coaching and driving changes to impacted organizations. You will focus is on process analysis and re-engineering with an understanding of technical problems and solutions relating to current and future business environments. What you will be doing * Strongly leading and supporting the Product Owner and Implementation Teams in their quest to do everything possible to meet customer requirements. * Work in tight collaboration with project management to successfully delivery implementations in an Agile manner. * Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Agile and be able to adapt individual client projects to FIS Agile methodology. * Guiding and Coaching the Implementation Teams and organization on how to use core FIS Agile/Scrum practices and values to deliver value to customers. * Assessing the Agile Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. * Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. * Supporting and coaching the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining (aka grooming) and managing the product backlog. * Facilitate scrum ceremonies.
