Robert Half Technology is looking for a Business Analyst in San Diego. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and modeling company financial trends and member utilization trends and transform this data into usable/actionable information for company leaders and subject matter experts.
Also, the business analyst uses modeling tools to document business scenarios based on assumptions from leadership. Minimum Qualifications:
BA or BS degree in mathematics, economics or statistics required with some experience in health care or related industry preferred Basic knowledge of medical coding and billing preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Proficient in Microsoft SQL preferred Must be able to commit minimum of 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week Must be able to follow instructions and be adaptable to new tasks and skills Must be able to pay attention to detail on large amounts of data and reports Must be able to work in a timely manner and handle priorities Must be able to communicate effectively, with etiquette, both verbally and in writing Excellent organization and note taking skills as well as basic mathematical skills Able to develop and achieve professional growth goals and objectives For immediate consideration for this position please contact Mark Ecal @ Please send resumes to I can also be reached via LinkedIn at
1.Provides analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation. 2. Process and manipulate large scale data to enable reporting and analysis 3. Produce ad-hoc and routine reports using MS SQL Database, Excel, Access and other reporting tools 4. Perform routine data validation and QA functions for complex reports and maintain accuracy and integrity of patient electronic records 5. Organize documents and folders to support reporting and archiving for the analytics team 6. Seek, provide, and support inputs with team members to develop reports? quality and efficiency 7. Organize the workflow and process to streamline routine data report productions and carry out process improvements initiatives. 8. Perform various clerical functions or other responsibilities as instructed by supervisor 9. Responsible for the quality and integrity of work 10. Maintain HIPAA compliance standards
