The primary focus of the department is to present a comprehensive set of credit risk portfolio reports in an accurate, timely and reliable manner, and to provide Senior Management with data and analysis for business and regulatory reviews, strategic initiatives and new processes in the Credit Risk Management area. The department is also heavily involved in working on responses to the OCC's safety and soundness regulation (12 CFR Part 30).
Summary Job Description
The main functions of the Risk Reporting Analyst consultant are:
Prepare and review business requirements for projects in responses to the regulator's heightened expectations
Work with technology and business analysts to clarify on the reporting requirements
Perform User Acceptance Testing and ensure all the business requirements are reflected in the system
Involved in various policy-driven and regulatory projects with risk reporting
Understand/interpret the nuances of the questions and requests from senior managements and regulators and work with risk managers and portfolio analysts to come up with solutions/alternatives.
The Risk Reporting team interacts with industry global risk portfolio managers, Finance, Technology, Audit, and other areas within Franchise Risk Architecture and across the firm.
4+ years of work experience
Advanced knowledge of EXCEL, Access, Visual Basic and Power Point preferred
Knowledge of various system programming language preferred
Knowledge of credit risk measures and basic accounting
Knowledge of Banking internal reporting applications, particularly Risk and Finance applications, is desired
Good team player and excellent work ethics
Strong communication skills
Organizational & interpersonal skills
