The primary focus of the department is to present a comprehensive set of credit risk portfolio reports in an accurate, timely and reliable manner, and to provide Senior Management with data and analysis for business and regulatory reviews, strategic initiatives and new processes in the Credit Risk Management area. The department is also heavily involved in working on responses to the OCC's safety and soundness regulation (12 CFR Part 30).

Summary Job Description

The main functions of the Risk Reporting Analyst consultant are:

  • Prepare and review business requirements for projects in responses to the regulator's heightened expectations

  • Work with technology and business analysts to clarify on the reporting requirements

  • Perform User Acceptance Testing and ensure all the business requirements are reflected in the system

  • Involved in various policy-driven and regulatory projects with risk reporting

  • Understand/interpret the nuances of the questions and requests from senior managements and regulators and work with risk managers and portfolio analysts to come up with solutions/alternatives.

The Risk Reporting team interacts with industry global risk portfolio managers, Finance, Technology, Audit, and other areas within Franchise Risk Architecture and across the firm.


  • 4+ years of work experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Advanced knowledge of EXCEL, Access, Visual Basic and Power Point preferred

  • Knowledge of various system programming language preferred

  • Knowledge of credit risk measures and basic accounting

  • Knowledge of Banking internal reporting applications, particularly Risk and Finance applications, is desired

  • Good team player and excellent work ethics

  • Strong communication skills

  • Organizational & interpersonal skills

As the Business Analyst reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will use a wide range of data and analyses to develop critical organizational and team solutions related to financial and operational performance, cost effectiveness, and impact. Additionally, you will work alongside the Health Investment & Policy team to support high-quality data analysis and contribute to a cost effectiveness study of Liberia's National Community Health Assistant Program. What You'll Do * Use data—especially financial, program quality, and impact data—to test organization-level and ecosystem-level strategic hypotheses to improve and share impact, and otherwise enhance the operations of a rapidly growing social sector organization. * Work alongside the Chief Operating Officer to analyze organizational performance trends and offer recommendations for improvement. * Collect, analyze, and communicate financial and operational data for use in simulation models, integration with survey data, enriching impact analyses, and especially producing quality-informed cost and cost-effectiveness analyses of primary health care programs. * Provide analytical and data visualization support related to team and organizational work streams, e.g. the scoping of new initiatives and geographies for the organization * Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis to support the economic evaluation of community health programming What You'll Bring * Minimum of 3 years experience in consulting, health research, or public policy. * Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization. * Experience and knowledge related to the evaluation of technical and design aspects of health financing and governance in community health. * U.S. work authorization You'll Impress Us If * You have done this work alongside government counterparts or other policymakers, donors, and multi-lateral institutions with a focus on or working in resource limited settings * You have coding and analysis experience with Stata, Python, SQL, or R * You have a graduate degree in public or health policy About Last Mile Health Founded by the survivors of Liberia's civil war, Last Mile Health (LMH) saves lives in the world's most remote communities.
