Overview

We're looking for a Business Analyst to support Plant Operations. This role requires a thorough understanding of all Official Record documents and legal descriptions, along with exceptional attention to detail. The successful candidate will offer advice to plant managers on daily posting challenges, create written business rules for plant processes, work closely with plant managers to enhance vendor quality, and assess training needs for onshore and offshore teams. Additionally, they will conduct due diligence for plant conversion projects and collaborate with developers to implement system enhancements.

Duties

  • Advise plant managers on daily posting issues, response to customer reported discrepancies, and standardization of posting practices.• Provide all formal written business rules and instructions for Data Entry, Locating, and Mapping through Vendor Management in response to vendor clarification requests, customer discrepancies, needed plant standardization, and workflow changes.• Collaborate with plant managers to measure and improve the quality and productivity of offshore vendors.• Review new court case types encountered in non-recording states and advise on acquisition and posting to the plant. • Evaluate training needs and develop sessions for onshore and offshore teams.• Provide title industry training for new hires including basic title principles, understanding official record and court records, and introduction to legal descriptions.• Provide input on FNFI Certification and Re-certification Programs.• Conduct due diligence for plant conversion projects, researching state-specific laws and guidelines.• Working with developers to support system bugs and plant enhancements.• Evaluate new county data sets to gather essential details for expansion requirements.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in courthouse/plant searching and title examination is required.• Proven experience in creating content and materials for training or educational sessions is necessary.• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, are essential.• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and OneNote is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all Official Record document types, including their purpose, function, and the requisite information to be posted to the plant.• Possess a thorough understanding of the court system, enabling the identification of case types impacting real estate and ensuring their acquisition and posting to the plant.• Display proficiency in interpreting metes and bounds legal descriptions, as well as comprehending various types of maps and legal descriptions.• Show exceptional attention to detail coupled with the ability to make solid business decisions.• Capable of developing engaging content for industry or plant-related training and education presentations and conducting video sessions with onshore or offshore teams.
