We currently have an opening within the Business Intelligence division, for a Business Analyst / Product Manager with an initial background in working with subscription-based software products. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of new platforms while supporting highly respected brands in the Wealth Management and Institutional Asset Management space. Products you will be supporting and developing serve some of the most prominent firms in the industry and support financial advisors, financial analysts, and performance analysts amongst other client segments.

The business analyst/product manager will be responsible for supporting a designated product set, which will include existing and new products. The person is charged with working with clients as well as developers, prioritizing the product roadmap, and for optimizing processes to support on-time delivery of performance reporting. The ideal candidate will be curious and flexible to work with mature technology as well as developing next-generation tools.

Key Accountabilities:

Market knowledge & relationship building

  • Develop and apply a deep understanding of workflows; gather market and customer insights through customer and sales feedback channels and ongoing competitive analysis

  • Develop and/or maintain an understanding of assigned market segments to identify key sources of competitive advantage and new opportunities

  • Contribute to quantitative and qualitative market research to develop/test propositions with relevant customer segments, and to ensure that these propositions meet market need

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Technology, Marketing, Sales, Client Services, and Business Management) to identify opportunities, gather customer feedback and ensure the smooth running of projects

  • Proposition Development and Execution

  • Identify improvements in products and services and deliver those to market by getting buy-in from internal and external stakeholders

  • Contribute to the roadmap for approved new product initiatives that result in commercially viable products and services that achieve forecasted financial performance

  • Collaborate with Technology, and other product colleagues, to develop digital product and service pipelines that satisfy current and future customer needs

  • Service Management

  • Be the 'face' and advocate for the products or services you develop and manage, responding to queries from sales, marketing, global and customer support teams

  • Monitor, report, and act on the ongoing performance of services against key performance indicators including usage, renewal rate, adoptions and revenue against target


  • Relevant experience in a similar or comparable role within product management preferred; experience with accountability for a commercially successful new product and/or effective revitalization of an existing product a benefit

  • Knowledge of financial industry clients and performance reporting or adjacent market segments is desirable

  • Ability to plan and manage projects and an interest to develop these skills further across a larger portfolio of products


  • Commercially-focused and customer-/user-centric; able to spot opportunities and make recommendations to capitalize

  • Ability to demonstrate a systems-focus and wide interest in addressing opportunities/challenges through technical, analytical, and user-centric solutions guided by evidence and data

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
