Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for leading American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Business Analyst for our client in the Utilities domain.

Role Description: The Business Analyst would need to have at least 5 years of experience.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience with analyst responsibilities in implementing "Service Now".

  • Leads and facilitates meetings and communications between IT and an assigned business area, and informs team members of ongoing discussions with the business.

  • Identifies opportunities to improve current business and IT processes and acts as a champion for change within the assigned business area of responsibility.

  • Prepares as is/to be diagrams, context diagrams, and swim lanes/business process diagrams.

  • Develops Functional Requirements documents and Traceability Matricies.

  • Participates in RFI and RFP process as well as SOWs and Change Requests where applicable.

  • Develops user stories and assists in the preparation of the testing strategy and the execution of the test plan.

Contract could go 12+ months with the opportunity to become permanent full-time.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Assists staff professional in meeting the objectives of the department, including all tasks associated with operations and/or business unit risk management functions. The incumbent is responsible for supporting and enhancing the Enterprise Risk Management process including strategic, operational, financial and capital allocation risk evaluations as well as supporting the placement of all Eversource insurance programs. The Associate Risk Analyst is responsible for: * Risk identification and working with risk owners on the assessment, mitigation and monitoring of risks associated with operations and business unit strategies and operations, including capital projects. * Preparing reports on the status of identified risks for senior management. * Researching and identifying metrics to monitor progress of mitigation plans and risk status. * Researching emerging risks facing the utility industry. * Assisting with contract reviews for appropriate insurance requirements and indemnification agreements. * Assisting with surety bond procurement and reporting. * Assisting with insurance applications and placements. * Obtain and review certificates of insurance as necessary.
